General plot: This book is about a teen that finds out he is a Demi god (human/god) he goes on a quest to find who stole the bolt from Zeus. Everyone thinks he is the lightning thief, but he has to proof them wrong and keep his honer with his poseidons legacy.
Major theme: I think the major theme is making something of yourself. Because in the book Percy at first is just a normal kid in high school but when he finds out people think he stole the lightning bolt then he has to fulfill his duty and proof everyone wrong.
Authors style: the authors style in this book really makes you get into the book because of how much it makes you either feel bad or good or excited of the charictar. Great author!
Audience: I think that a good age for this book is all ages from 10-100! It was a very easy read for me and should be for a lot of other people.
Would I recommend this? YES! This book was so sweet! I have only read like ten books in my life and this is in the top 3! It's exciting, funny, and extravagant! This book will also be good for readers that like Greek mythology.
