One of the best books i have read:

Lord of the rings part one (1993)
Tolkien J.R.R
Fiction

General plot:
Frodo, a normal hobbit doesn't know whats coming for him. He gets this ring, but not just any old ring, a very powerful ring. On his journey he and his friend Sam go through many conflicts and hard decisions. In the book everyone is after Frodo to kill him and take the ring for their own gain. Frodo has to find a way to destroy the ring, and stay alive.

 major theme:
As Frodo goes on his journey to destroy the ring, he learns friendship and sees how just one little hobbit can be a hero.

Authors style:
Lord of the rings (part 1) is a intensified adventures book. I like this author a lot because of how much detail he puts into the book. for example, he would write about every little detail about the forest, the houses the characters in this book. I also like how the author knows each individual characters personality, and thoughts.

Audience:
Lord of the rings (part 1) is a higher level reading book for about 14 and up. This book also swears sometimes so might not be for you if you like that. If you like adventure and action then this is the book for you, although it is quite slow, so if you have A.D.D then probably not a good idea.

would i recommend this?:
Yes, i would recommend this because its so interesting, the first time i read this book was about a year ago and i didn't quite understand it, the second time reading it I finally got every little thing in the book so for some readers it might be frustrating for them. A famous quote by a critic named Mathew De Habuita                 saying "A stunning adventure story realized with genuine artistic flair." another critic, Thomas Delapa is saying "It is imaginative, fierce, even thrilling."
